Rick Whitter serves as the Administrative Bishop of the State of Minnesota. Prior to assuming this role, Rick was an effective pastor in South Florida. I have known Rick for over ten years and I have a deep respect for him. Rick has a passion for church planting and church expansion. He is always looking for innovative ways to help his pastors reach their communities for Christ.
While he was serving in South Florida, he took the church to the people. Every week, in addition to the services that he provided at his main campus, he offered an early morning beach-side service. Rick understands that we have to meet people where they are and that we have to be willing to start a conversation with people that God brings our way.
Rick also has a passion for World Missions and his passion has been passed down to his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Josh Hansen. This dynamic couple serves the poor and under-resourced of Guatemala at the Casa Shaloam Orphanage.
As pastors, we want leaders that understand the world that we serve in. Rick Whitter is that type of leader. Yes, he is over 50, but you would never know it. He has a spirit like Caleb's spirit and we need men like Rick helping our movement go forward.
